Crash closes Route 46 near Cortland

A traffic accident shut down part of Route 46 in Trumbull County early Thursday.

BAZETTA TWP., Ohio - A traffic accident shut down part of Route 46 in Trumbull County early Thursday.

Dispatchers say a pickup truck hit a pole along Route 46 just south of Route 305 shortly after 6:30 a.m.

The accident brought down a power line, causing the road to be closed temporarily.

Police tell 21 News that the driver left the accident scene.

There is no word on when the road will open again
