TRANSFER, Pa. - The owners of Mercer County’s Reynolds Drive-In are making the best of a bad situation with a little humor.
It has not even been a month since high winds knocked the screen over, destroying a building underneath.
The marquee, which is still standing at the entrance, now reads “Gone With the Wind”.
A post on the theatre’s Facebook Page says, “There is a Sequel!”
Owners, who have already said they plan to rebuild, added a further message stating, “Work is underway! Keep watching and see you in 2021!”.
After being closed for 6 years, the drive-in re-opened this year drawing in crowds for live entertainment.
