Mahoning Valley - It's safe to say the era of the toilet paper shortage is over for now.

21 News reached out to a variety of grocery stores around the Mahoning Valley and found items like toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer and basic food items are stocked.

Grocery stores like Sparkle Market says there are less people buying in bulk and suppliers are caught up on providing larger amounts of orders.

21 News reached out to over a dozen Sparkle Markets in the Valley and found their main shortage concern is disinfecting wipes and Lysol sprays.

Sparkle says there are no limits on any products, other than the South Ave. location, having a purchase limit of 1 item per household on disinfectant wipes.

Many grocery stores provide off-brand toilet paper, hand sanitizer and food items to keep their shelves stocked.

Sparkle tells 21 News they are fully stocked for Christmas food essentials and are ordering regular amounts of holiday food.

Giant Eagle and Aldi told 21 News they are staying well stocked on all high demand items like toilet paper and food basics like eggs, milk, water bottles and bread. Giant Eagle does not have any purchase limits in place but, like Aldi, they will put purchase limits on items if the demand increases.

Giant Eagle's advice ahead of the holidays is to help one another by continuing traditional grocery shopping and avoid bulk purchasing.
