Warren's Premier Bar to remain closed until at least March 12

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren bar that city leaders deemed a nuisance will remain closed for now.
City officials and the defense came to the agreement that Premier Bar will remain closed until at least March 12, which is when another hearing date is set, according to City Law Director Enzo Cantalamessa.
The decision comes after a Trumbull County judge granted the city a temporary restraining order to close the bar off of North Park Avenue. City leaders and neighbors said the establishment has been a magnet for problems and criminal activity in recent years. Cantalamessa said that back in November, an undercover state agent bought alcohol at the bar, which does not have a liquor license.
Cantalamessa said the city hopes to reach a resolution with the business at some point where it can reopen without the sale of alcohol.
