Basketball: Chaney & Struthers look to advance

The Wildcats and Cowboys play Thursday night.

The Chaney and Struthers boys basketball teams take their shots at advancing to the regional finals Thursday at Barberton High school.

The undefeated Wildcats plays Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary at 5:30, while the Cowboys face Gilmour Academy at 8:00pm. The winners advance to Saturday's championship game at 1:00 pm.

Struthers needed double overtime to eliminate Chardon, 118-108, while Chaney knocked off Poland, 70-48.

Akron SVSM is the top seed in their district and Gilmour Academy was the 10th seed in their district.

21 Sports will have coverage of these games both online and on-air Thursday.
