BOARDMAN, Ohio - Boardman High School's Rock Orchestra - Project Mayhem - will perform on stage at Spartan Stadium for the first time in May.

The expected crowd for the outdoor concert will be the orchestra's biggest performance ever.

Tickets are on sale to the public for the Mayhem Concert that will occur on May 22 at 7:30 p.m.

There will be seating in the home stands and blanket-only lawn seats on the field. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase, but groups at the concert can not exceed 10 people due to COVID-19 protocols.

"Traditionally, we sell out the Boardman Performing Arts Center's 1650 seats for this event," said Mayhem Music Director Bill Amendol. "Taking it outside and abiding by COVID restrictions, we can have as many as 2,200 there this year. We are so excited to take Mayhem to this level!"

The 2-hour event is described as a 'Trans-Siberian' style performance.

Tickets are $10, and tickets from last year's show that COVID canceled will be honored.

You can buy tickets at Boardman High School at the main entrance on school days between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
