Niles set to resurface over $1M in city streets

NILES, Ohio - Niles is set to use around $1.3 million for street resurfacing throughout the spring and summer.
The city says this is a continued effort to upgrade its aged infrastructure.
The local street resurfacing program will consist of the following streets:
Youll (Hogarth to Rhodes)
Lawnview (North Road to Dead End)
Gypsy Lane (SR 422 to Moreland)
Difford (SR 422 to Brentwood)
Pepperwood (Four Winds to Cul-de-sac)
Black Oak (Nob Hill to Sandalwood)
North Crandon (Robbins to Stevens Park Entrance)
Summit (Robbins to Henry)
Beaver (Robbins to Pearl)
Gilbert (Robbins to Mason)
Pearl (SR 46 to Hartzell)
John (Madison to Margaret)
Wilson (Main to Dragon Dr.)
Maple (Main to Emma)
West Park (East State to City Limits)
East State (Robbins to Main)
Meadowlark (Sunny Estates to Pheasant)
Liberty (Morningside to Lakeview)
Battles (Fifth to Dead End)
Thomas (High to Scott)
To pay for the projects, the city says it's using around $500,000 local dollars, $375,000 in Ohio Public Works Commission grant funds and $420,000 federal grant funds.
