YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Rock legend Alice Cooper will play at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre in September, JAC Management announced Monday.

The announcement comes one day after JAC Management President  Eric Ryan appeared on WFMJ Weekend Today promising to announce shows in the near future from artists of every genre.

Ryan said that when Governor Mike DeWine announced he'd be lifting all pandemic-related health orders on June 2, he and his team set to work confirming several national touring acts they'd been in contact with for shows at the Amphitheatre and the Covelli Centre.

Cooper will be joined by KISS guitarist Ace Frehley as an opening act for the show, which will take place September 27. Tickets go on sale May 21 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and the Southwoods Health box office.

Prices range from 39.50 to $125.

Cooper, famous for rock anthems such as Poison, School's Out, No More Mr. Nice Guy and Feed My Frankenstein, last played Youngstown at the Covelli Centre with Rob Zombie in 2009.
