SANDUSKY, Ohio - Despite efforts to find more workers, Cedar Point says it will have to close on select days in June.

The Sandusky park took to its Facebook page Friday to announce they're continuing to adjust the operating calendar based on the availability of seasonal labor.

To adapt, Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark will be closed on select days in June. They encourage parkgoers to visit Cedar Point's website for the most up-to-date calendar.

According to Cedar Point, people who have booked an overnight stay or have made ticket or season pass park reservations will be contacted directly with more information.

Cedar Point says it added more than 300 full-time, year-round positions with benefits. They also introduced a $500 seasonal sign-on bonus for workers.

The park adds it's increasing the 2021 seasonal and part-time wage for all positions to $20.
