Farmers National Bank donates more than 8,000 books to Akron Children's Hospital
The bank donated 8,480 books to the hospital Wednesday.

CANFIELD, Ohio - Farmers National Bank is donating children's books to Akron Children's Hospital.
The bank donated 8,480 books to the hospital Wednesday.
The books were collected through donations at area branch locations from April 1 to May 15.
"We expected to have a good response, but we never imagined we would get close to 8,500 books," said Amber Wallace, EVP, Chief Retail and Marketing Officer. "Giving back to local organizations is a priority for Farmers, and our communities showed up in a big way. We cannot thank them enough."
