YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -
Youngstown City Council will soon vote on whether to foot the bill for the demolition of a former restaurant.
The city's finance committee met Tuesday night and decided to move the issue to council for a vote Wednesday.
The vote is regarding the $48,000 demolition fee for the former Anthony's on the River building.
It was demolished back in August of last year before Council voted on the emergency demolition.
The fire chief said he ordered the demolition after considering its possible collapse a danger.
Council has previously voted against paying the fee with some saying there was a lack of transparency by the city.
