Police looking for suspects accused of beating, robbing Warren man

WARREN, Ohio - Police are looking for two suspects in connection with the beating and robbery of a Warren man.
Officers went to the home on the 800 block of Mahoning Avenue NW just before midnight on Monday.
That's where they found a big glass window broken and noticed the victim on the second-floor balcony.
Once officers announced they were there, they said the man started screaming and said he could not come down to the ground level because he was in pain and could not walk.
The victim's knees were both bleeding and he said he thought his ribs were broken, according to the police report.
When police asked the victim what had happened, he told them he loaned his car out last Friday to a friend, then saw on the news that the friend was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle in Trumbull County.
He said someone knocked on his door and asked who it was, and the voice said his friend's name, so he opened the door hoping his car would be there.
According to the police report, the victim opened the door to two men who had bandanas over their face and their hoodies pulled tight to only show their eyes.
The victim said they demanded the keys to his home, which he refused.
That's when the suspects broke a table and used one of the legs to beat the suspect, according to police.
Police said the victim handed them the keys so they would stop.
The victim told police the name of the suspects and said they were in their early 20's with a white and gray hoodie on.
Police said he could not give any more information because he said he was in too much pain.
