Rulli Brothers withdraws Four Seasons complaint

The owners of Rulli Brothers have withdrawn a trademark infringement complaint filed against Four Seasons Flea & Farm Market in Campbell.
The complaint filed on June 1 alleged that Four Seasons advertised, promoted, and offered grocery services under the name "Rulli's Deli."
Four Seasons filed a response acknowledging that Joseph Rulli authorized it to use the name "Rulli's Deli" on its website in 2007 when Rulli leased vendor space at the flea market.
The attorney for Four Seasons claims that the Rulli reference remained on the website even though Rulli had not been a vendor for the past 12 years.
The website has since been updated with the Rulli name removed, according to a court document.
The issue came to light when a local newspaper recently posted an advertisement for Four Seasons using information from a previous ad that contained the Rulli reference.
Four Seasons said it was not given a preview of the ad before it was published.
F.A.R. Foods, which filed the complaint, voluntarily dismissed the complaint on Wednesday.
