Trumbull County Fair returns Tuesday

The 2021 Trumbull County Fair kicks off Tuesday after a year-long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year's event is the 175th fair in the county.
The fair will be held from July 13 to 18 at the fairgrounds at 899 Everett Hull Road in Cortland.
Tickets are just $1 Tuesday and increase to $12 for adults Wednesday through Sunday. Discounts are being offered for senior citizens and veterans on Wednesday. Veterans can get in free and those 62 and older can get tickets for $5. Tickets for children under three are free all week.
Ride passes will be available for $10 per person.
Parking is available at Lot A off Hoagland Blackstub Road and Lot B is located near Gate B off Everett Hull Road. Handicap parking is available near Gate C.
Trumbull County Fair secretary Michelle Smith said everything is back to normal at the fair. Rides, concessions and animals all arrived Monday in preparation for Tuesday.
Gates open Tuesday at 8 a.m. with an opening ceremony taking place at noon.
