WARREN, Ohio - Two girls are in trouble with juvenile authorities for walking into a Warren home and beating up a teen who lived there.

The woman who lives at the home on the 200 block of Iowa Avenue NW told police that two girls knocked on her door asking for her fourteen-year-old daughter to come outside.

The mom said when she refused, the two girls opened to door and went inside, pushing the mom into a flat-screen TV, causing to fall and break.

The woman said that one of the girls, a 14-year-old female, found the daughter in the kitchen, punching her several times in the head until another family member carried the alleged attacker out of the house.

The mom said the other intruder, a 17-year-old girl, then began to punch her daughter until she was also carried out of the house by the family member.

When police questioned the suspects after finding them walking three blocks away, the 14-year-old said that she had taken it personally after the woman’s daughter had made fun of her younger sister.

The teen admitted to police that she went into the home and fought the daughter after she refused to come outside.  The 17-year-old also told police she went into the home as well.

Both suspects were handcuffed and arrested on juvenile charges which include burglary, criminal damaging, and assault.

According to the police report, the victim suffered minor injuries.
