Mahoning Valley - Two local organizations in the area are holding school supply donation events Saturday.

The first is a "Stuff the Bus" event at Akron Children's Mahoning Valley Campus from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bazetta Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are collecting supplies at their "Cram the Cruiser" event at Walmart on Millenium Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Both events are collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Supplies donated at the Akron Children's Campus will be distributed to Mahoning County students and the Bazetta event will benefit Trumbull County kids.

Common items on supply lists include pencils, notebooks, erasers, glue sticks, crayons, pencil pouches and highlighters.
