Warren Police revive adults with Narcan as child cries for his 'mommy' to wake up

WARREN, Ohio - Two people spent the weekend in the Trumbull County Jail after Warren police found both passed out while a four-year-old boy inside a truck cried for his mother to wake up.
Samantha Miletta, 29, of Niles, and Corey Batton, 27, of Warren, were each arrested on charges of child endangering.
Police say they found Miletta unconscious in the passenger seat of a pickup truck parked on the sidewalk along High St. NE Friday afternoon.
Officers say they found Batton on his knees with his face against the truck’s bumper.
The four-year-old child was inside the truck, crying for his “mommy” to wake up.
A search of the truck turned up an empty packet of suspected heroin on the floor, and a full packet of suspected heroin concealed in a pack of cigarettes that police say was within the child’s reach.
Police gave the adults each a dose of the opiate reversal drug Narcan and both were taken to St. Joseph Hospital before being transferred to the jail.
