The Canfield Fair is finally back after a year off and to some people, it's a step back to normalcy, but to others, the fair brings in a ton of revenue and they need it.
"Vendors that come out here can't find a better platform to make their sales. Examples are tractors, real estate, movers, and car dealerships," said Dave Dickey, Director at the Canfield Fair.

The fair is also huge for the 4-H club as the youth can use this platform to sell their animals. The kids would purchase a cow for 800 dollars and then raise it. Once it's raised, then they could bring their animal to the fair and maybe get 2,500 dollars for the animal.

This is one way 4-h club members can raise money for college and other expenses.

Even though the fair was canceled last year, they still put on a 4-H club show at the fairgrounds so kids could show off their hard work and get judged for it.

Ward Campbell, the president of the canfield fair board, tells 21 news that they put the show on last year for the kids and didn't charge because that's what the fair is about; Education and teaching the youth.

Dave also added that last year hurt when it came to sales for vendors and other local places, but this year, hotels and restaurants are filling up due to the added traffic and this is what this town needs.
