A family man and businessman is back in the valley after being deported over three years ago.

There were tears of joy and happiness after Al Adi landed at the Cleveland Airport.

Attorney Michael Morley tells us Adi's daughters which led rallies against his deportation to Jordan are grateful their dad's home.

"Al is doing great. He's over the moon really. He's so glad to be reconnected with his kids, the whole family, a grandchild, and to be back home in Youngstown," said Morley.

He tells us prior to and after Adi's deportation Immigration Attorney David Leopold and Congressman Tim Ryan continued their efforts to help Audi, who's back in our country on a humanitarian visa.

"Ultimately we believe this will lead to a path of permanence which I think should have been the case years ago. He's been here for 40 years, and raised his family and contributed to the community, successful business person. He's done a lot." added Morley.

For now Adi also known as Amir Othman will be catching up on family time.

He is being welcomed back by the community who remembers the former owner of the Downtown Circle who cared for people struggling, the poor, and homeless. Adi held many free dinners on holidays and worked them himself serving neighbors in need.
