Canfield Fair performers helped draw crowds

The Canfield Fair has come and gone, and after a two year hiatus, people were excited to get back.
While the fair did experience a lower number of attendees than previous years, the performers helped bring people out to the Grand Stand.
The Canfield Fair usually sees around 300,000 attendees every year. In 2019, the fair saw 304,462 attendees.
George Roman, Director of Entertainment at the Canfield Fair told 21 News that Covid-19 obviously had something to do with the attendance, but that the two great performers really helped draw people out.
According to Roman, 285,125 total people attended the fair, and while neither concerts sold out, the numbers for each concert were still great.
The Shinedown concert closed out the fair Monday night and brought approximately 7,400 attendees to the Grand Stand, according to Roman, while Darius Rucker brought in 6,900 concert goers.
