The coroner’s office and police are investigating after a body was found in a field in Warren over the weekend.

WARREN, Ohio - The coroner’s office and police are investigating after a body was found in a field in Warren over the weekend.
A caller to 9-1-1 reported that it appeared to be a child, found near Pershing and Choctaw Avenues SW shortly after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Warren's Police chief told 21 News that the body was not that of a child.
The coroner has not yet released the age or gender of the person.
The caller said that it appeared that the shoes of the victim appeared to be thrown nearby.
Police have not yet released information about the circumstances surrounding the death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
