COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) and the SRMC Foundation are holding events throughout October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

The events will be held at Firestone Farms TownCenter, at the corner of Routes 7 and 14 in Columbiana. 

Walk-in mammograms will be available for women on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at SRMC'S Imaging Center at Firestone Farms. No appointment or physicians not is needed for the mammograms, and financial assistance will be available to those who qualify. 

Women who receive a mammogram will also be eligible for a pink-themed raffle basket drawing. 

On Saturday, October 16, the SRMC Foundation will be hosting the second annual "Pink Out on the Farm" breast cancer benefit at Firestone Farms. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation's Cancer Fund. 

The event will include live music, a children's chalk art contest, a Pink cancer survivor fashion show, Pink specialty food and drinks, and a variety of 40 different raffle items. Winners will be drawn Monday, October 18 and will be contacted by the SRMC Foundation. Proceeds from the raffle will go to support the SRMC Foundation Center. 

Tickets are 1 dollar each, 6 tickets for 5 dollars, or 25 tickets for 15 dollars. 

The times for the mammogram services will also be extended on October 16 to 8a.m. to 4p.m.
