A busy shopping plaza in Salem’s business district was the scene of a raid by the Columbiana County Drug Task Force on Thursday.
Accompanied by Sheriff’s Deputies and Salem Police, agents searched the One-Stop Smoke and Vape Shop on the 2300 block of East State Street.
Investigators say they confiscated candy and other edibles infused with THC, the active ingredient that gives marijuana its high.
Columbiana County Chief Deputy Jennifer Tucker tells 21 News that investigators believe the edibles were being sold at the store.
Charges in the case are pending lab results, according to investigators.
