MASURY, Ohio -
Brookfield Police say a Sharon, Pennslyvania man turned himself in after the police department posted to social media pictures of him on a pink dirt bike where they said he was driving recklessly around traffic and ran from officers attempting to pull him over.

According to a police report, 23 year-old Raine Leard has been charged with failure to comply and reckless operation of vehicles, among other charges.

The report states Leard ran from not only Brookfield police but also Hartford Police, and Sharon Police twice.

According to Brookfield Police, on October 28th Leard was spotted driving recklessly with his front wheel off the ground on Addison Road. The report say multiple times the driver of pink dirt bike would pull over as if to stop but then speed up again.

According to the report, an officer even pulled in front of the dirt bike and stopped the cruiser to block the roadway in an attempt to get the driver to stop. But, the driver went through a yard to avoid the officer.

Four other dirt bikes were also on the roadway, but the report says they were not driving recklessly.

Several people helped police identify Leard. Leard then turned himself in on November 5th.
