WEST FARMINGTON, Ohio - One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after veering off of Old State Road in West Farmington and crashing into a house Wednesday morning. 

It happened around 9 a.m. 

Troopers on the scene said the driver said he had fallen asleep at the wheel, travelling about 30 yards across the lawn and causing significant damage to the base of the house. 

According to scanner traffic, he was bleeding from his arm. 

No one in the house was injured. 

The crash remains under investigation.
