Columbiana, Trumbull hunters rank top three for turkeys harvested
Trumbull County tied for first with Highland County with a total of 29 turkeys harvested.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio's fall wild turkey hunting season has come to an end.
The season was open in 70 counties between October 9 and November 28.
According to the ODNR, Ohio hunters checked 694 wild turkeys during that period.
Two counties in the Valley made it into the top 10 for most wild turkeys taken during the season.
Trumbull County tied for first with Highland County with a total of 29 turkeys harvested.
Columbiana County was second with 27 turkeys taken.
Mahoning County hunters brought in 10 turkeys.
The 694 turkeys harvested are lower than the three-year average total of 1,079.
