Kirk Road closure extended

The Mahoning County Engineer is extending the closure of Kirk Road in Austintown.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Engineer is extending the closure of Kirk Road in Austintown.

Kirk Road, which is currently shut down just east of Turner Road, will remain closed until December 23.

The engineer’s office says the closure is needed to allow work on the Ohio Turnpike bridge.

The posted detour is Kirk Road, to Route 46, to New Road, to Turner Road.
