Boardman attorney pleads not guilty to insurance fraud
A Boardman attorney has pleaded not guilty to an indictment alleging that he fraudulently collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical insurance claims.

YOUNGSTOWN - A Boardman attorney has pleaded not guilty to an indictment alleging that he fraudulently collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical insurance claims.
Anthony Fusco, 33, was arraigned Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court following an indictment charging him with telecommunications and insurance fraud.
Assistant county prosecutor Michael Yacovone tells 21 News that Fusco is accused of filing approximately $800,000 in false medical claims to insurance companies during a two-and-a-half-year period beginning in March 2017.
Fusco, who is free on bond faces another court hearing on March 3.
According to state records, Fusco’s license to practice law is listed as inactive.
