Stores prepare for winter weather

Ohio - Winter time in Ohio is in high gear, and this week we're expecting a mixed storm of freezing rain, sleet and snow.
Preparedness is key in these situations, and stores are warning customers to move quickly as certain must haves are running out faster that they can restock them.
"We had more shovels than we knew what to do with and they disappeared so fast, after we got 30 of them in Friday, we're down to less than 10," says Tom Glunt, a cashier at True Value.
Along with shovels, salt has been flying out the door as well.
"The True Value salt we're running low on, the other stuff, we've got a decent amount right now but not a lot. I'm shocked the way they've been buying it now. It's been going pretty quick," says Glunt.
If you wake up Thursday morning and find that your car door has been frozen shut, Glunt says you should buy an ice scraper or windshield de-icer.
"Best to be prepared early no matter how you look at it. The earlier, the better," says Glunt.
True Value is hoping to have more supplies in store by Friday.
