Youngstown State senior golfers Ken Keller and Kevin Scherr were each named Second-Team All-Horizon League when the conference office announced its postseason awards on Friday.

This season marks the first time in program history that the Penguins have two All-Horizon League selections.

Scherr earns all-league honors for the third time in his career while Keller garners postseason recognition for the first time. Scherr joins Ryan Stocke as just the second player in program history to earn All-Horizon League honors three times. The Nazareth, Pa., native is only the fourth player in school history to garner All-Horizon League multiple times. Scherr was named First-Team All-Horizon League in 2018-19 and Second-Team All-Horizon League last season.

The fifth-year senior earned six top-10 finishes and seven top-15 finishes while being YSU's top finisher on four occasions. Scherr's 73.1 strokes- per-round average matches his career best and is tied for third-lowest single-season scoring average in program history.
