Mercer man charged for allegedly endangering four-year-old boy in OVI incident

A Mercer man will be facing charges for an incident in which he allegedly endangered a four-year-old boy during an OVI incident.
Mercer Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) officers were dispatched to I-80 near SR-19 in reference to a vehicle traveling eastbound all over the roadway.
Police say the vehicle reportedly struck a semi truck, a guard rail and construction signs.
Police made contact with the suspect driving the vehicle, identified as Chad Miklo. Police found a four-year-old boy in the vehicle who reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Officers noted that Miklo showed apparent signs of impairment and was transported to a nearby hospital to be evaluated, as well as a legal blood draw.
The child was transported back home to his mother in Mercer where he remains in custody.
Miklo will be charged with endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangering another person, OVI and multiple other traffic offenses.
