Dog lost in Hubbard reunited with owners in Virginia

HUBBARD, Ohio - There's a happy ending for a couple from Virginia who lost their dog while traveling through the Mahoning Valley.
Dawn and Randy Craig were traveling through Hubbard last Thursday and stopped at Truck World to use the restroom. When they came out, their dog, Tuffy, was gone.
They looked for him as long as they could, but had to get back to Virginia because Craig transports steel.
A family found the dog early Friday morning around 1 a.m. and Jason Cooke, from The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project took him in.
Cooke posted on Facebook about the lost dog and so did the Craig's. The posts ended up crossing paths and the Craigs drove the 8 hours back to Youngstown to pick Tuffy up.
If you find a lost dog, call the police, humane society, animal shelter or your local dog warden for assistance.
Having your pet microchipped is also a great way to locate you should you get separated from your furry friend.
