YOUNGSTOWN - Police were called to investigate a dead body found in a trash can Saturday night.

Officers responded to the area of Himrod and Loveless Avenues around 8 p.m.

Detectives were on scene for several hours, with details still very scarce this early in the investigation. They did say the body appears to be male.

No word yet on the person's identity or cause of death.
