Campbell mom charged after daughter found in neighbor's pool

CAMPBELL, Ohio - A Campbell woman faces a court hearing for child endangering after her daughter was found playing in a pool about one-third of a mile from their home.
Jacquelyn Harrington, 34, turned herself into the police on Friday.
Police got a call on July 11 that Harrington’s 7-year-old daughter was playing in a small children’s pool in the front yard of a home on Chambers Street.
Officers say they knew who the child was because she had wandered from home at least three times before. According to the police report, the girl is autistic and non-verbal.
Police notified Harrington who told them that the child had climbed out of the first-floor window of their Murray Avenue home.
Harrington is due to appear in Campbell Municipal Court later this week.
