WBCB, The Valley's CW, will televise the Missouri Valley Football Conference game between Youngstown State University and North Dakota State University this Saturday, October 1, 2022.  The game will begin at 2:00 p.m., live from Fargo, North Dakota.

North Dakota State is the #1 ranked team in FCS and owns an overall record of 3-1.  The Bison opened MVFC play last week with a 34-17 win at South Dakota.  YSU (2-1) will be playing its first conference game of the season after a bye last week.

The game is a match-up of schools that have won multiple NCAA FCS National Championships.  The Penguins have captured four titles in their history while the defending National Champion Bison have won nine.

YSU is guided by head coach Doug Phillips who is in his third season.  North Dakota State head coach, Matt Entz, is in his fourth.

The series between the two teams kicked off in 1972, with NDSU holding a 12-4 advantage.  The Bison topped the Penguins, 49-17, at Stambaugh Stadium last season.
