WARREN, Ohio - A Warren woman was intoxicated when she was struck and killed while crossing a street in that city.
According to a police report, 64-year-old Pamela Roupe died Thursday evening after being hit by a Jeep Liberty as she was walking across Mahoning Avenue Near Kinsman Street.
Police say in addition to wearing dark clothing and not crossing at a crosswalk, tests show that Roupe’s blood alcohol content was .184, which is twice Ohio’s limit for being considered under the influence of alcohol.
