SLIDESHOW: Mahoning County Prosecutor announces new staff team
Newly-elected Mahoning County Prosecutor, Gina DeGenova has offcially announced her new staff on Tuesday.
DeGenova's new team is as follows:
- Robert Andrews and Ralf Rivera (Chief of Criminal Division): Andrews will oversee the felony side of the criminal division and Rivera will manage the juvenile court, county courts, criminal appeals and post-conviction including parole.
- Karen Gaglione (Assistant Chief of Civil Division)
- Linette Stratford (Chief Assistant and Chief of Civil Division): Stratford and Gaglione will manage the civil division and implement measures to ensure the division runs efficiently and effectively and that all statutory clients are well-represented.
- Diane Stokes (Executive Administrator): Will work directly with DeGenova and add managing on/off boarding personnel, staff performance and benefits, development of the annual report, budgeting and oversee all communications received through the office's website.
- Lori Shells-Simmons (Senior Attorney): Will administer the team of assistant prosecutors who work the the Mahoning County Children's Services Board and Juvenile Court to protect abused, neglected and dependent children.
- Mike Yacavone (Grand Jury Prosecutor): Will review all cases bound over from the County and Municipal Courts and all direct presentments.
- Nick Modarelli (Law Enforcement Coordinator): Will serve as the liaison with all law enforcement agencies that work for the prosecutor's office.
- Alan Rodgers (Director of Communications and Outreach): Will oversee and manage all outward communications from the office with public and private community partners, news outlets and all social media.
