WARREN, Ohio - Detectives are investigating a report from a Warren man who said he was robbed and pistol whipped after two intruders barged into his apartment.

The 27-year-old man called police to his Fairview Garden apartment on Duke Avenue SE just after midnight Wednesday claiming two men wearing masks, dressed in black and carrying guns entered his room and ordered him to get on his knees and put his hands up.

The resident said when he looked at one of the suspects, he was struck in the face with a gun. According to the police report, the victim had abrasions on his head and forehead.

According to the police report, the victim told police one of the intruders held him on the ground while the other man walked around the apartment picking up items.

The resident reported that the suspects walked out with $1,000 in cash, two Playstations, two or three video games, and a bag of change.

The victim, who said he didn't recognize the intruders, told police he would email them security videos from cameras in his apartment.
