Howland's Thomas heading to Ursuline College

Neviah Thomas is continuing her academic and athletic career's at Ursuline College. She was a two year letterman for the Tiger’s soccer team and also participated in track and field.
Coach Greg Mitchell shared that, “Neviah quickly adapted to her new school environment and was instrumental in the success of the program from her first year, stepping in and starting at the center back position during the season to solidify the back line. In her senior year she recorded a goal and 4 assists playing mostly in the midfield. Her skillset and comfortability on the ball is clearly evident in possession and was a tremendous asset on the field. Her physical play is intimidating to anyone who tries to challenge her in 50/50 situations and she sends that message to her opponents when competing, especially against other teams’ stronger players or tough matchups. Neviah always represented the Tigers with great sportsmanship and was also a great teammate. Congratulations to Neviah and her family. It has been a pleasure coaching her and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors!”
Off the field, Neviah has also done well in the classroom and her love for animals got her involved in Paws with a Cause. Neviah will be continuing her education and playing collegiate soccer at Ursuline College in the fall as she pursues her goal to become a veterinarian.
