U.S. Marshals have located a 14-year-old Cuyahoga County girl who has been missing for nearly one year in Columbus on Wednesday.

According to a press release, Marshals located 14-year-old Trinee Washington, who was reported missing from Cuyahoga County in July of 2022 at a home on the 2200 block of Jermain Drive in Columbus.

Marshals identified a 41-year-old male who was found with Washington. Local authorities are currently investigating this man and charges are pending against him.

Washington is safely being returned to the custody of the Cuyahoga County Department of Jobs & Family Services, who previously had custody of her.
