Hundreds gathered in Warren's historic Courthouse Square on Saturday to come together and celebrate Pride month.

In the crowd was a face many wouldn't associate with pride - the Pastor of an area church.

Jack Acri, the pastor of First Federated Church in North Jackson, manned a tent and photo booth at Warren pride, wearing a shirt that says "Catch the Love Bug."

"We're here at Pride Day today to share God's love with everyone," Acri said.

He went on to criticize other churches that have been hesitant to do the same.

"We realize that there's so many churches that sadly have been denying people that love. We're here to set the record straight. God's love is for everyone. We want to affirm that, and affirm everyone that is here at Pride Day."
