Warren Township driver charged in wrong-way, head-on crash

A Warren Township man has pleaded not guilty to a charge filed after State Troopers say he drove his car the wrong way on Route 422, running head-on into another car carrying three teenagers.
Tyler Wilson, 28, was arraigned Thursday on a charge of aggravated vehicular assault.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Wilson was driving a Ford Fusion in the wrong lane of Route 422 just after midnight on June 15, when his car struck a Pontiac G6 coming from the opposite direction.
The driver of the other car, a 17-year-old girl from Southington, and two 15-year-old boys were taken to Mercy Hospital. The 17-year-old was the only person with serious injuries.
Wilson, who was taken to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries, has another hearing scheduled in Warren Municipal Court next month.
