NILES, Ohio - Niles police are investigating after a report of a drive-by shooting on Clay Street.

Officers responded and found that no one had been hit by the gunfire but several shell casings and a bullet hole were found in a nearby vacant house.

Detective Captain John Marshall says officers were able to identify a suspect based on information from a victim.

Niles police worked with Warren police to arrest 25-year-old Dontavious Wallace in connection to the shooting.  Police say warrants have been filed for two other suspects including Anthony Butler and Brandy Bajwa.

Butler is charged with felonious assault and Bajwa is charged with complicity.

Two guns were found at the place where Wallace was located.

He is facing charges of felonious assault and other charges could follow.

Wallace was arraigned Wednesday morning on the felonious assault charge.
