After years of serving the Valley a Columbiana County car dealership will soon be closing its doors.

According to a letter sent to customers from Janet Flynn of the Flynn Auto Group, Donnell Ford Lincoln of Salem will be closing its doors on September 27 with its last day of service being Monday, September 25.

The letter does not cite a specific reason for the closure, but mentions the decision to close was made by the Ford Motor Company following a "reevaluation of its dealer network."

The letter goes on to reassure customers that Donnell Ford's Boardman location isn't going anywhere and is ready to assist customers with complimentary pickup and delivery, mobile service and other conveniences to enhance customer experiences.

To schedule service at the Boardman location, you can call 330-726-8181 or click here.

21 News reached out to Flynn Automotive Group Vice President, Samuel Flynn, who tells us he cannot provide any further information on the closing, but says the dealership's foremost focus is assisting its dedicated employees and customers during the transition.
