LISBON, Ohio - A Wellsville man is on trial in Columbiana County, charged with sex offenses allegedly committed over several years against a child as young as seven.
Sixty-nine-year-old Spencer Kidder was secretly indicted one year ago on three counts of rape, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of gross sexual imposition.
According to the indictment, Kidder had sexual contact with the alleged victim beginning in 2014 when the child was seven years old, and continued until 2020 when the child was 12.
The trial began Tuesday and continued Wednesday.
