Police have identified the victim in a deadly shooting in Warren Sunday night.

Warren Police have identified the victim as 36-year-old Eric Shannon.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. on McMyler Street near Parkman Road. Detectives say Shannon was found dead on the front porch of a home there.

21 News crews saw bullet holes in the home and a coroner's van at the scene.

A witness tells 21 News Reporter Sydney Canty that they heard at least four gun shots and saw a man running away. 

Shannon's father, James Shannon Sr. says he's disappointed and this entire situation was unnecessary. James hopes Warren police will bring swift justice for his son.
