Two area football players made verbal commitments on playing at the next level.
Ursuline's Ty'Req Donlow has committed to Saint Francis University. The 6"1" 210 pound defensive end has been a three year starter and has helped the Irish to a 9-0 record a playoff berth.
Beaver Local's Austin Cline is heading to Carnegie Mellon. The 6'3" 195 pounder has led the Beavers to a 6-3 record & a possible playoff berth.
In his career, Cline has thrown for more than 5,000 yards and was an honorable mention all state player in 2022.
