Youngstown Police responded to a crash that involved a car flipped on its side Wednesday afternoon.

A picture sent by a WFMJ employee shows an SUV flipped on its side across the street from Yanni Custom Furniture and Upholstery at the corner of North Meridian Road and Oregon Avenue.

There appears to be another SUV stopped at the scene. Police had left the scene when 21 News crews arrived, but tow truck drivers at the scene told us that two SUVs were involved in the crash.

One person has been taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
