The Red Cross is helping find shelter and other needs for a man and woman forced from their home early Thursday when a fire broke out.
A resident of a home on the 300 block of East Myrtle Avenue told a dispatcher that an electrical fire erupted shortly after 5 a.m.
Youngstown firefighters quickly doused the blaze. However, there was enough damage to the house to make it uninhabitable.
Animal Charity was also contacted to find temporary shelter for a family pet.
