Mercy Health East Palestine Primary Care offers February health screenings
Mercy Health East Palestine Primary Care will be hosting a series of health screening events for patients throughout the month of February.
According to a press release, these events will make it easier for patients and the community to access important annual screenings, labs, mental health care and other services.
Mobile Van Wednesdays at the East Palestine Library will bring the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Mobile Mammography Unit to the area for breast cancer screenings and the Mobile Dental Van for dental care.
Additionally, there will be walk-in labs and mental health screening available at East Palestine Primary Care throughout the month.
"Primary care and annual screenings are important to our overall health, as they help ensure patients receive cohesive and well-coordinated care. Prioritizing routine care and screenings can also help prevent health challenges before they arise or catch something early," said nurse practitioner Giuseppe DeAbate.
